Thailand based Bangkok Flight Services BFS enhances productivity with EASY SOFTWARE

Bangkok Flight Services BFS, one of the only 2 concession operators providing ground and cargo handline at Suvarnabhumi Airport in Thailand implemented EASY SOFTWARE’s enterprise document capture and archiving solution.

Bangkok Flight Services is a joint venture between Worldwide Flight Services, the world’s largest independent ground handler with over 20 years of global experience, and Bangkok Airways, second largest regional scheduled carrier in Thailand known as Asia’™s Boutique Airline. BFS operates and provides passenger, ramp and cargo handling services at Suvarnabhumi Airport“ the impressive new international airport of Bangkok for approximately 30 international airlines. The EASY solution was successfully implemented by EASY SOFTWARE’s Thailand based partner IT Creative which was established as a Thai Limited Company in September 2005 by a group of people who specialize in Adobe Digital Document Management, Printing Management Solution and IT Infrastructure Solutions.

When David Ambridge, General Manager of BFS, came on board 18 months ago he was challenged with huge amount of documents. About 250,000 copies of freight related documents had to be made each month and stored in the warehouse for 5 years by law. The cost for copying, storing and retrieving these required documents was increasing and David needed to search for a way to reduce this mounting costs. “When we were looking for a partner that can help us reducing this paper load and it’s associated costs we spoke to various vendors”, says David Ambridge. “When IT Creative introduced EASY SOFTWARE to us, we saw that this was the only system integrator that really understood our challenge. Since then the management and staff of IT Creative have proven to be a very reliable partner for us.

We are on track with the implementation and we already realize a dramatic cost reduction from the formerly needed copying process. This paper reduction also has a great positive impact on the environment.
